Well spring may be a little late... but it's coming! The covered and heated patio is a lovely place to enjoy a fresh lunch, afternoon cocktail or a lovely dinner el fresco. The retractable awning offers full protection from the rain, or an opportunity to bask in our (occasional) West Coast sunshine. We are always able to make it JUST RIGHT!

Located at the Old House in Courtenay, Chef Ronald St. Pierre's menu showcases local foods from Vancouver Island producer including bison, crab, oysters, rabbit, venison, duck, and artisan cheeses. Pastry Chef Laurel's amazing desserts are all created in-house and from scratch, which is certainly a rarity these days!!

We are very excited that Locals Restaurant has for the second time been awarded Level 3 L.E.A.F. Certification; Leaders in Environmentally Aware Food Service. We were the first, and remain the only restaurant in British Columbia to gain this recognition! Read more about this outstanding achievement in our What's Cooking Newsletter page.
