Happy 10th anniversary for Locals Restaurant!


This spring marks our 10th anniversary. We look forward to celebrating with you during the month of May.

We are having an exciting Spring and are looking forward to seeing the familiar spring and summertime faces come through the door. 

May 13th is Mother's Day and a very busy day and night for us.  Please make reservations if you plan on celebrating with us, Moms really are the best!

On May 26th we are hosting a fundraiser on our patio for Kus-kus-sum with Chef Ned Bell.  Ocean Wise Celebrity chef  Ned Bell will be creating a gourmet three course seafood lunch at Locals Restaurant to raise awareness and funds for the purchase and restoration of Kus-kus-sum (the Old Field Sawmill across from Locals) at 11:30am on May 26th.  Bell is a long-time sustainable seafood ambassador based at the Vancouver Aquarium, in early 2014 he founded Chefs for Oceans and rode his bike 8,700km across Canada to raise awareness about sustainable seafood.

Ticket includes a welcome reception – cocktail and amuse bouche, three course gourmet lunch, cooking demos, tote bag, and signed copy of Lure (book).
